Merry & Bright at Easton Made

A good time was had by all at Easton Made 2024. When the forecast predicted chilly, rainy weather, we moved the festivities into our gorgeous 14,000-square-foot amenity center, The Union. Guests enjoyed live music from Viben and the Submersibles, craft cocktails, tasty bites, and, of course, photos with Santa.

Shop ‘til you drop

The shopping was amazing this year, with cool gifts from more than 30 local vendors ranging from pickles and jewelry to ceramics, crystals, gorgeous wraps and wearables, salsa, baked goods, and more. We found gifts…and more than a few things for ourselves, as well! Kids enjoyed photos with the big guy as well as balloon art, face painting, and lots of craft opportunities.

Decking the halls

Up and down model row, our Easton Park builders worked harder than Santa’s elves to plan wonderful activities in the model homes. Brookfield Residential hosted guests with DIY bouquets and ornament decorating. Pacesetter Homes borrowed from a Christmas classic with a You’ll Shoot Your Eye Out Nerf contest and an Oh Fudge dessert bar. David Weekley, our newest builder, had a holiday photo bus with great pics. Newmark had the kids writing letters to Santa while the adults enjoyed yummy drinks and apps. Taylor Morrison delighted guests with a lovely photo wall, kids crafts, and a popcorn station. Perry Homes had a line out the door for their delicious tamales, queso, and churro bar!

Helping pets in need

It wouldn’t be an Easton Park event without a community component, and this Easton Made was no exception. This year’s community partner was Emancipet, a non-profit that offers free and discounted healthy pet services for families in Travis County. After Brookfield Residential’s donation match, Emancipet received a grand total of $1260 in donations. Emancipet will be able to subsidize 140 office visits from this donation. Thanks to everyone who donated!

Winner winner, chicken dinner

Just kidding, our prizes are way better than chicken dinners. Drumroll, please, as we announce our big prize winners — Lauren Szuman was the winner of our Snowplace Like Easton Grand Gift Basket, a $750 value. Easton Park resident Hannah Shaw won the $500 Visa gift card for bringing a non-resident guest. Thank you to everyone who entered.

If you missed the event, you can check out all of the pics online and plan to come next year.
